Small jobs will be completed during this visit. Larger jobs will require more time and may require a second visit, depending on your Handy Pro's schedule. In any case, this will all be communicated with you, along with an estimated time to completion and expected expenses.
Please be advised that our minimum charge for a visit is $99. Realistically, each Handy Pro can visit at most three projects per day, and this minimum ensures that they are compensated fairly for their time and expertise.
Each Handy Pro earns $45/hour, consistent with current industry norms for skilled professionals. The rest pays for insurance, WSIB, wear-and-tear on tools and vehicles, fuel, and company administration.
Rest assured that your Handy Pro will keep you informed of the estimated time to completion and expected expenses before starting work, so there will be no surprises when you get the invoice.
While we favour charging by the hour (it saves our customers money 86% of the time!), some customers prefer the peace of mind of a fixed-cost option. We calculate this price by estimating labour and expenses, then adding 30% to cover any unforeseen issues and risk factors.
Whichever payment method you choose, our goal is to complete every task or project to your expectations.
